Mar 24th BEGINNING WITH MARCH 1ST 2018 THE MAXIMUM VALIDITY PERIOD WILL BE 2 YEARS FOR ALL SSL CERTIFICATES

CAB Forum Ballot 193 has passed, which means a shorter maximum validity period of 2 years for all SSL certificates. The maximum of 2 years has already been effective for EV (Extended Validation) certificates and will soon be standard for all validation types.
