Code Signing certificates are requiring special browser features that not all web browsers are offering. Please make sure to download the correct browser before requesting your code signing certificate! - The newest ones do not work well since they took out the key generation in the update:

1. Disable Firefox auto-updates

a. Click on the “3 line icon” in the top right corner
b. Go to “Options”
c. On the “General” tab, scroll down to “Firefox Updates”
d. Select “Check for updates but let you choose to install them”
e. Close all browser windows and tabs

2. Download the 68.0.2 exe/dmg

a. Windows: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/68.0.2/win64/en-US/ (.exe)
b. Mac: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/68.0.2/mac/en-US/ (.dmg)
c. Linux: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/68.0.2/linux-x86_64/en-US/ (.tar.bz2)

3. Check your Firefox version to confirm if it is 68.0.2 and confirm if the auto update is disabled.
