From August 19th 2020, SECTIGO issues SSL certificates with a maximum lifetime of 398 days (13 months) as specified by CA/Browser consortium. SSL certificates with a longer lifetime must be re-issued annually (free of charge). You'll receive reminders via e-mail. SSL certificates issued before August 19th 2020 remain valid until their planned expiry date. Code Signing & S/MIME certificates are not affected and remain valid until their planned expiry date.

On 10th November 2016 a SSL related bug has been reported for Chrome 53.x. The bug results in Chrome 53.x not accepting some SSL certificates under certain circumstances (browser-build older than 10 weeks, SSL issue date after June 1st 2016, certificates issued by Symantec Group). Error Message: ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED

We recommend all customers updating to Chrome 54.x which has been released on October 12th. The issue has been resolved with Chrome 54.x
